Yukata
Since I will spend my summer in Tokyo (and Shikoku) I’ve decided to take the chance and buy/wear a yukata! I’m planning in visiting some festivals, so it would be nice to dress up in one.
I know UNIQLO has some cheap and pretty ones, with a maching obi set. Hopefully they will still be available in July.

I found in 25ans (october 2008 issue) a brand called NOVESPAZIO. Classy is another magazine who uses this brand.
It sounds maybe Italian but it’s Japanese!! The designer is named Yamafuji Noburo, part of Sanei-groups (which is a company with many fashionable brands!).

Poupée Girl
I started using Poupée Girl a couple of years back, it’s kind of funny but it goes in periods. I must say the creator really puts a lot of effort into it though and the clothes looks really great. It’s a game where you can upload photos of your clothes, save points (ribbons) and buy virtual clothes and accessories to dress upp your doll. Very girly, but very funny.

This lovely store at Söder in Stockholm is so lovely!! Victoria & Erik is a small shop with beautiful clothes only brands from Taiwan. And the jewelry!! Victoria makes the earrings herself, and they are so exotic and unique!
I fell in love with a dress and a pair of earrings with lovely pale pink drop pearls. I will def visit it again soon!!

Grave of the Fireflies 7/10
This movie is so sad and so touching! It’s really good and seems very realistic, also it tells a very true side of war and misery. I liked it, and everyone should see it, but for me it felt almost a little too much. After watching this I felt really depressed. This is why I decided to give it 7 points. Apart from the Japanese fashion mags I read every month, I’ve also bought evey issue of the UK magazine TANK since last year. Even though there’s only 4 issues a year, I enjoy all of them, mostly because of the intellectual and cultural way they write about art/fashion/music/politics. And the photos are stunning!
Early morning brunch
I had a sudden urge for cooking when I woke up this morning! So I decided to make myself an early morning brunch.
I made a carrot soup and an egg salad with curry, apples and almonds, and had some Finnish karelska piroger. It was delicious!!

Sunny day
Yesterday was such a lovely sunny tuesday. I spent it in the sun on my balcony, listening to the new CD my friend sent me from Japan. It’s my favourite band, dark the giant!! I finished the day off with a glass of champange with one of my best friends Rebecca.
Short Second Hand Jacket
Today I ordered this beautiful jacket from the online second hand store Stilsamt. I have always wanted a jacket like this, and was very happy about the price: only 259 kr with sending fee. Now I’m looking forward to receiving it!!

Anime
I used to watch a lot of anime before, and really enjoyed it. Also it was a good way to practise my Japanese. At the moment I prefer to watch dramas, but if there’s an anime that looks enjoyable I’ll watch it as well. Here is a list of some I’ve seen so far:

Tea addict
Every evening I drink about 5-10 cups (mine are kind of small though) of tea!! I’ve tried many different kinds, and it’s fun to change once in a while but the ones I always turn to are the ones from Qi Teas, their both organic and fairtrade and delicious!!
I use the Tefal Quick&Hot on my desk, even though it’s energy efficient, it’s mostly because it’s so easy...
